For agencies
Waldo for agencies: intelligence your whole shop can run on
New business, strategy, creative, and account teams pulling from one live data layer instead of six subscriptions.
The short answer
Agencies use Waldo as a shared brand intelligence layer: daily tracked data on client and competitor brands, category trends, and audience conversation, exposed through an API and MCP server. Pitch teams mine angles, strategists pull verbatims, account teams catch changes early, and developers wire it into the agency’s own tools.
Agency economics punish research time. Every hour spent collecting screenshots, exporting dashboards, or waiting on an insights queue is an hour not spent on the thinking the client pays for. And tools built for brand-side insights teams rarely fit how an agency works: many brands, shifting rosters, and pitch deadlines that do not respect license counts.
Waldo is built for that shape of work. Activate the brands, categories, and audiences you cover, and every team in the building reads from the same daily-refreshed layer: in chat through the MCP server, or in the agency’s own internal tools through the API. Waldo’s case studies with Crossmedia, McKinney, and PETERMAYER cover the platform side of the same story.
The plays
New business: walk in knowing the landscape
Pull a category snapshot for any pitch in one run: share of voice, top angles, and trending topics. Mine the angle library so the deck opens with what the incumbent’s creative is missing.
Strategy: verbatims instead of vibes
Audience endpoints return clustered, quotable language from real conversations. Briefs and copy decks carry the audience’s actual words, with sources attached.
Account teams: catch the change before the client does
Daily diffs on competitor ads and landing pages surface new campaigns, changed offers, and retired creative, so the weekly client note writes itself and never gets scooped.
Developers: build the agency’s proprietary edge
200+ endpoints and an MCP server mean the agency can ship its own monitors, internal tools, and client-facing products on Waldo’s data instead of maintaining scrapers.
Questions teams ask
Is Waldo priced for agencies?
Pricing is credit-metered from a pool shared at the organization level, with scoped keys per team if you want hard limits. There are no per-seat fees, so the whole shop can have access without a license spreadsheet, and a light month costs less than a heavy one.
Can client teams be kept separate?
Yes. API keys are scoped, workspaces are isolated so teams only see their own brands and work, and Waldo is SOC 2 compliant. Nothing you upload is used for model training.
We already use Claude and ChatGPT across the agency. How does this fit?
Waldo ships as an MCP connector: an admin can install it at the organization level and individual users authenticate once. The same tools are then available in chat for strategists and over the API for engineering.
